This is a stairwell winder. It was formed by myself, using wooden batten, eml (wire sheet) bonding and finally a skim coat. As you can see there are many curves too it. We also blended it into the ceiling. ( right hand top edge of picture.)

Another recent sand cement and lime render. Eml sheet applied beneath to help key of scratch coat also helps too reduce chance of cracking.

Recent sand cement and lime render. Applied to front, rear and side of property. I always add lime to my s&c render mix as this helps it breath and can reduce the chance of cracking.

Small garden wall which was falling apart. Beaded up the angles and drip beaded the bottom so to keep render off ground. This prevents water getting into and behind the render as it would if rendered down to the floor. Sand cement and lime render mix. ( we didn't choose the paint )

Thermalime top coat applied to property for insulation properties.

Lime base coat applied on top of new soft wood lathes.

17 century farm house owner had damp problems old sand/cement plaster was not letting house breath so removed it. After working closely with owner and heritage a plan was put into place and we decided to restore wooden timbers and lime plastering to the property to recreate the properties original materials and features. (Please see other photo's

Serving hatch being converted to new feature.

An old kitchen serving hatch. Customer wanted it removed and a feature made out of it. I decided to make on arched feature for them. (See following photos)

Bathroom was in need of major work, brick work was loose, so rather than take the easy option over over boarding, I decided it would be stronger and safer to internal sand and cement render it instead ( float and set ). This also provides a stronger and safer background to fix wall units etc, as opposed to plasterboard (dot n dab)

Top floor of barn conversion which flowed down another level. Pitched Ceilings, walls, cupboards etc all boarded beaded and skimmed.

Thanks to KML our bedroom ceiling now has an excellent smooth finish. Kevin was very polite both on the phone and in person, and very easy to get along with.
The only negative was that despite putting dust sheets down there was still plaster left behind both in dried form (from previous jobs still on the dust sheets I imagine) and splashes from applying to my ceiling which we found in several places.
Overall the quality of the work and service was very good, thank you.

Kevin is a first class tradesmen; polite, honest and helpful before, during and after the job. Early days yet (as the plaster hasn’t dried) but It is already clear that Kevin has done a far better (and tidier) job than our previous plasterer. Very trustworthy – no qualms with leaving a key to our property. Communication is top notch and nothing seems to challenge Kevin – even our dodgy, wonky walls! Would highly recommend KML if you are looking for a first class service at a very reasonable price. We will be having Kevin back for future work around the house.
